We are sailing through the Beagle Channel today and headed towards Drake's Passage, one of the roughest ocean routes in the world. Our captain has informed us that we are to expect 30 -40 foot waves and it will be a rough voyage. We have been instructed to make sure everything has been put away so that nothing falls and breaks. All the tall chairs on the ship have been tipped over to minimise damage from the upcoming turbulence. It takes two days to make the crossing.
Stay safe and warm!!
